Legend Plates
What is a legend plate? Legend plates are usually rectangular or round with one hole in the center to fit around a pushbutton, pilot light or selector switch. Legend plate is also a generic term used for engraved lamacoid plates or labels. A switch plate is also a common term used to describe a legend plate.
Our standard legend plates fit 22mm or 30mm selector switches, push buttons and indicator lamps.
Made from .06″ thick plastic, these legends are UV stable and are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
All standard legends have an alignment notch at the 12 o’clock position (top) of the cutout. Legends are also available with the alignment notch(s) at the 3,6,9 and/or 12 o’clock position(s) or without the alignment notch.
Optional peel and stick adhesive can be applied to all legends.
Available in a variety of colors and custom engraved with your choice of text or available as blank legends which are not engraved and can be etched or engraved in-house as needed.
